It has been a long while since I have updated. 7 weeks of training have passed and I will be moving on to a new phase of my work. The past 7 weeks have been a combination of stress and anger, yet at the same time, filled with fun and pleasure and with many new friendships being forged. The 2009 MAs have been excellent company, and these 7 weeks form a journey I will hold in my heart and not forget.
I just went to send some of the MAs off at the airport and remembered that I used to want to work in the Changi Airport since I was young. Reasons were aplenty, Singapore Changi Airport is one of the best in the world and the facilities were great. The real reason was however, that I liked to see people gather or depart from one another at the arrival/departure gates. By the way, I am not a sadist of course, but the tears, hugs, and words of comfort separating the both sides of the gate serves an important reminder to me – we do not have to wait till we part or gather to have emotions like this. Instead, we should embrace one another like that everyday of our lives.
