grad

Last week had been a crazy week. Definitely my toughest week in SMU as I rushed through projects, assignments and quizzes. AFA quiz has been a wake up call. The rest of the projects are uncertain. Whatever it is gotta recollect my thoughts and focus on my four exams in the next couple of weeks. Last few projects in SMU were fun. A few photos on my last project presentation group and prof and a graduation cutout, marking the end of a rewarding 4 years.

Chelsea

I feel for Chelsea. My heart first sank with them last season when JT missed the CPL penalty, and then the second time during last night’s match with Barca.

I don’t care what people say about Chelsea – whether they don’t play football or they ‘bought’ success, because in my eyes they are a team that kept fighting and stayed disciplined to their tactics.

I think Chelsea is a team that is ‘easy to hate’ because of many reasons. If I was a supporter of the other big 3 and had to choose a team to hate, it is easy to point the finger at Chelsea.

People said Chelsea bought ‘success’, but they forgot Rooney, Berbatov, Torres or Arshavin. People said Chelsea did not play football, but I think that there is nothing wrong for a team to play according to its strengths – Chelsea plays according to their physical strength and disciplined tactics. Not everyone is a Torres or Messi or Ronaldo, so why should Chelsea adopt Liverpool’s or Man U’s tactics if their striker is Drogba?

In Chelsea I see pillars supporting the team – a passionate leader in JT, a hardworking and reliable midfielder in Lampard, a skilled and quick player in Joe Cole, a strong and intelligent striker in Drogba, and a machine in Essien.

Go on Chelsea! One day you will find the success you deserve!
