Hi guys, Laura and I just went for Jacky Cheung's concert, and both of us agreed that it was the best concert we had seen before. I'm sure some of you have read the reviews about the concert, and it was indeed nothing short of excellent.

I asked Ue about the songs he sang and I particularly liked one of it, "Qiu Yi Nong". You guys can listen to it in this link http://www.haoting.com/musiclist/ht_21f91eb0a46bd52b.htm. It is the one that Stephen Chow impersonated in his movie. Haha for fun's sake I'm also including how he did it here.

Hello boys n girls

Tis is UMIT DAVALA.(USING THIS NAME AS I AM AFRAID I MIGHT OFFEND PEOPLE, THE MARIST SHD NOE WHO I AM LA.HAHA)i jus wan to bitch about my life so here i am bloggin.i love to bitch about people. Esp people who offend me. Gives me joy in tellin every1. Haha. So beware. DO NOT...i repeat DO NOT OFFEND ME OR I WILL MAKE U REGRET. Fox Man shd noe tt. The marist people shd noe who fox man is.hahaha. Y am i digging up the past..notin...jus bored...

Aniwae back to me bitching bout others. As all of u noe i work at a watering hole on Sundays n recently i joined a new watering hole(i work here on friday)cos at the old watering hole i felt i was not being recognised 4wat i have done for them.
Ok let me start my story. 2 mths ago, my boss F decided to hire a manager(which we nv had b4, as my boss F usually played the role of manager himself) Previously he hired 2 waiters. So with the new manager, i tot he would hire 2 waiters.But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, he cut his workforce down to 1 waiter n a manager. WTF. so now we waiters have to work like shit while the manager enjoy entertaining...sumting is wrong with the management man....n i am paid 8 bucks an hour. BUT BUT BUT i do everyting. i am the waiter, bartender, cashier, bouncer, entertainer, sweeper, clean toilet uncle, EVERYTING!!!! for 8 bucks an hour!!!!no taxi fare home sumore...but i liked working there cos at least i felt my boss apreciated me n i liked the staff. but not anymore. ALL BECOS of a guy which we shall name SMIGGLE.

SMIGGLE was my best frend for the past few years even though there were a number of occasions that made me doubt his allegiance 2 me. But recently wat he did was the last straw. he cheated on his gf n then he got caught n he fucking blame me...n he go round tellin every1 i backstab him. n he was good frends with mr K(A waiter who plans the schedule at the old watering hole). So mr K decided to make me look like a idiot. When my boss hired a new manager, mr K asked me to quit as there was not enough vacancy...wat an ass..ok nvm i quit.but i still worked on sunday as my boss asked me personally to work on sunday then recently he lack of staff so he asked me to join back to work on wed, sat n sun. i agreed. n i turned down the new watering hole's offer to work on sat. then jus last week, mr K told me tt i oli need to work on wed n sun. he decided to get SMIGGLE to work sat instead. WAT THE HELL... i turned down another job offer to work for him then tis is wat he did to me...i feel so cheated.So i told him i will not work on wed.if he cant find sum1 tt is his problem i will work oli on sunday. it saddens me that nobody appreciates my work there n they treat me like a bloody ball to kick around.

At the new watering hole, i work oli as a bartender. i js pour the drinks n wash the cups.i get paid 7 bucks an hour but my new boss alway gives me 20 bucks before i leave to take cab home. It was oli at the new watering hole that i finally realised how underpaid n under aprreciated i was. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... I feel better after bitching man.wooohoooo.thanx 4 those who have read till here.hahaha.

It has been a while since anyone blogged, other than me haha. I’m waiting for my tuition at 8 and dinner so here I am.

Really looking forward to SQ and Xin coming back man. I wonder how much you all have changed but sure I am looking forward to seeing you guys and talk rubbish with you all again.

The people in Sg haven been meeting up as often as we could, except for weekly soccer matches. I think we should meet up soon and have good talks overnight at someone’s place or something. You know, just drink beer and BBQ and talk through the night, get a couple of nice VCDs or DVDs or something. It was really difficult that Es and Black are now back, let’s plan one of this soon yea.

You guys ever feel confused about something you have done? It’s like you take some time to think about something you are going to do, and then when you finally do it people comment and things do not turn out the way you expected and you begin to think whether you are doing the right thing. You think like should you just wait and time will tell that you have made the right move or that you have just made a serious mistake.

I’m saying this now cos of some things that have happened. For example, I wrote an email recently to my finance director and 2 managers about a project I have been working on because they have been procrastinating about it. It was a rather brash move in retrospect but I felt that taking a more active approach was better than waiting for them to give me further instructions and then procrastinating further. It turned out that I think I may have in one way or another offended some of them cos their replies were rather sarcastic. I’m not sure if I’m thinking too much but yea. If I have not done anything maybe things wun be like that, but I decided to take a gamble, and now I still felt that I had done the right thing.

I also realized recently that it’s really difficult handling a family well. It takes lots and lots of patience and determination and belief that things are going to be alright. I read about this story on another blog about a man and his wife. They were going to get a divorce and the man went to see his pastor and told him about his dying relationship with his wife. He told the pastor that he loved his wife a lot, and that he always thought he treated his wife well. He said,” I always leave the best part of the fish for my wife, the flesh on the cheeks, even though fish is my favourite food.” The pastor asked him,” Do your wife like fish?” & and man said no. Sometimes when we care for one another we always care for them the way in which we think is the best for them. But if we move up another level and think in terms of the way it’s going to make them happy, we could do things very different. I think this applies to studies too. Sometimes you just gotta give the Prof what he wants, and not about doing what you think is the best. If the Prof likes standard work, give him standard work. . If the Prof likes wayang, you should cut down on your standard work and give him wayang. Well, you guys get what I mean.

& yes I do hope that soccer games will serve as a bonding session for all of us. I think it’ll really feel good for all of us to play a sport and excel in it together. Win teams. Haha.
