redang

Hi guys,

This post is w.r.t. our Pulau Redang Trip. Some info off the web.. http://www.redangisland.com/home.htm.. very nice.. check it out ok..

And some practical info:

Note that Pulau Redang basically shuts down from 1 November to 1 March; the best time to visit is from mid-March to late September.

By Air

From Singapore :
There is no direct flight to Kuala Terengganu from Singapore. Travellers must fly via KLIA. If flying via KLIA from Singapore too costly, consider flying from Senai Airport in Johor with Malaysia Airlines or Air Asia, This is cheaper option but takes much longer time due to land transfer from Singapore to Senai. Malaysia Airlines passengers can catch the SPS coach from Singapore to Senai which departs from:
Malaysia Airlines Singapore City Terminal Tel: +65 6250-3333
Copthorne Orchid Singapore Hotel, 214 Dunearn Road, Singapore 299526 Operating hours : 05:15am to 18:15pm daily
Fare: S$12 from Singapore, RM16 from Senai. Travelling time is about 2 hours.
Air Asia will start a bus service soon from Singapore to Senai. Currently, the passengers will have to get to Senai airport by bus via Larkin to Senai.
By Coach
Express coaches depart daily from Kuala Lumpur (7 hours), Singapore (9.5 hours), Johor Bharu (9 hours) and Penang (9 hours). Most of the ticket counter only sell one way ticket, passengers may book return ticket plus tour through our company. Night coaches arrive Kuala Terengganu Tanjung Bus Terminal around 5.30am - 6.00am.We also provide free daily pickup 5.30am in the morning from Kuala Terengganu express bus terminal to Travellers center for rest and wash up.

Singapore (Lavender Street/ Kallang Bahru Juntion)
Transnasional runs 3 daily services between Singapore and Kuala Terengganu. Transnasional is the only coach operator that have a permit from Singapore Transport Authority and Malaysia Authority to operate express services between Singapore and Kuala Terengganu/ Kota Bahru. Transnasional only sell one class ticket but the coach can be from 24 seater to a 36 seater. Transnasional Express ticket office and departure point located at junction of Lavender Street and Kallang Bahru roads. Tel : +65-62947034 / 5). If you are unable to get any seats, you can try Transnasional coach which depart from Singapore to Kota Bahru and ask to drop off at Kuala Terengganu or Jerteh if you heading for Perhentian island which is the nearest bus stop to Kuala Besut jetty (15 min journey by taxi). There are tour company run coaches services from Golden Mile Complex at Beach Road but prices are much higher than Transnasional and passengers need to change to a different bus at the causeway or second link and passengers have to bring own luggage through Malaysia customs and immigration.
I just called Tranasional, and the prices are $36 for one way, and $54 for 2 way. After alighting from the coach we’ll have to take cab, which takes half an hour.

By Train
No Train service available to Kuala Terengganu but if passengers travel to north part of Terengganu like Perhentian Island. Keretapi Tanah Melayu train (KTM) service is available from economy class to comfortable sleeping berth from Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru/ Singapore to Tanah Merah, Wakaf Bahru and Tumpat in Kelantan region. Passengers can stop at Tanah Merah station which is the nearest point to Kuala Besut jetty, about 45 minutes by taxi and 90 minutes to Merang jetty.

Hi guys
Hope everyting is fine..jus wanted updated sum stuff in my life recently 2 u guys..quite sad tings..aniwae the guys oversea take good care ok dun do stupid tings or wat..

Yesterday my cousin jus committed suicide...i was so shocked cos i jus saw him a few weeks back and he was laughing and joking. Apparently he took drugs and was probably hallucinating...he was at his frends house and without any warning he jus jumped form the 12 floor...i hope that his death was instant or i cant imagine the amount of excrutiating pain he would have had to endure. A week ago his best frend had also commited suicide under similar circumstances after he quarreled with his wife and then went to take drugs.he had been feeling blue about his best frends death for the entire week and i am guessing that it also triggered his own death. his mum was cryin like crazy. n she kept blaming herself as she would call him every evening and on tis fateful day she forgot to call him...its so sad...my cousin was a drug addict but his mum never gave up on him...alway encouraging and he did manage to stop drugs until his frends death recently. Ans she keep holding his belonging and cryin and saying tha she wan to speak to him.Upon reaching home she immediately ran to his bed to lie on it... For those of u who went to chinatown to eat at my aunt's store...Ya she is the 1...n the son is the skinny 1...

Jus to say sum stuff regarding our clique also..i hope tt we will never give up ob each other...yes sum of us have changed. i noe many of u dun agree with my lifestyle.but as a frend i tink u shd accept me for who i am and maybe try to advise me. And not discriminate me until its so obvious for every1 to c.its not jus me, other people in the group 2.Like ivy, past is past, i hope sum of u wld jus leave it and give her a chance to show how she has changed. Ivy and i dun tell u how to live ur lifes or discriminate u because of ur character or principles even if we disagree with it. We give u advice when asked for cos we are frends. I relli hope tt we will all be good frends like before...all of us has our own faults. We all noe it.every1 in the group has faults jus tt every1 jus takes it for granted cos we have been frends for years...or because they feel they need to spend time with their gf and forget their frends, remembering them oli when they need help, which i feel is wrong.....
aniwae tok another time..feeling rather down...feel sorry for my aunt..

meet the robinsons

Hi guys!

Most of us have grown up watchin Disney movies.. and personally my favourites include Aladdin, and a more recent one, 'Meet the Robinsons'. I caught this film when I was in Genting with Lola, Kow and Gang, and this show is definitely worth a mention.

There was a scene in the film which was particularly memorable. It was during a family dinner where Lewis, the brilliant scientist-wanna-be, was encouraged by his family to fix a damaged food machine. Lewis was apprehensive at first but proceeded as he was spurred on by the gang. When he failed, his whole family suddenly burst out SINGING a cheerful song, "Congratulations! You failed!" 'Meet the Robinsons' adds a new central lesson: "Be glad when you fail, because that's how you learn." The show also reminded us to 'Keep moving forward'. It is a motto close to Walt Disney himself, as he puts it in his famous quote: "Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."

So my friends, keep moving forward man! Life is but a learning processs where we explore and keep learning more about ourselves.
