It's been a long time since I've written something to contribute to the many wonderful posts over these few months. And seeing as I'm leaving Singapore soon, and I'm that free, I might as well write something to address everyone.

This semester has been both a long and a short one simultaneously. I've tried balancing work and studies this time round and I must say it's really tough. Leaving home around 8 plus and reaching home at midnight. Not only have I to contend with assignments and projects and bad lecturers, I have to satisfy demanding customers, connect well with my colleagues and work hard for the company. It has taken the toil out of me but I hope I came out the stronger from this.

This semester is also short because in the midst of doing so much, time passes so quickly. And while tackling assignment after assignment, accepting grade after grade, regardless of good or bad grades, time never fails to remind us of its fickle and fleeting nature.

This is also the semester in which I've come to know of a girl, someone whom I've been talking to for the latter part of the semester. Its been four years since I've gotten close to someone, but nonetheless equally difficult. Cut a long story short, she's unsure of plunging into an unknown future with someone else.

I wish I could reveal more, but I'm left lingering in an equally confused state. So what I have to say to all of my friends, is that we all have our fears and inhibitions. But if you find someone, please hang on to that person. Don't hide your feelings for fear of sounding stupid or because you are unsure. Let that person know how you feel and hold that person close to you.

Genting

Hi Guys,

Back from our Genting trip. It was great. Gambling wise, I lost 250 RM on the first 2 days, but cut down to 25 RM today. Ah Kow won enough to cover his Genting expenses, and he was so proud to keep talking about it and showing off. Haha but he was really the star of our trip and the source of our laughter. You guys will know why when you all see the photos later.

Nothing changed much from the last time we went, except for the company of course. Still, the weather was good, the crowd was little which was good cos we could play the rides without queuing, the casino was flooded with China tour groups, and we even visited the coffee shop where Ivy brought us to last time and where we had the giant prawns, except that it shrunk this time.

Guys hang in there for your studies and exams. Bia a little more and the end is near. Don’t give up man!

Super big TV.. Kechang kow and me

Ter realli needs to lose weight man.. see how much his boat is tilted

Lola and siu

Lola and I

haha no matter how many times i see this photo, i always burst out laughing. for all his self bragging, self disillusion and buay hiao bainess, ter is truly a chicken when it comes to the rides. check out his expression and the thick vein which is about to burst anytime..

Short note

Hey all,

I know the exams are really just around the corner. I just want to say a few short words.

Song: I know you must be putting loads of stress and burdens on your shoulders. Remember that in all things we can only do our best and our best is always enough, no matter what. Pressures from all corners (you know what I mean) have seeped in but I am certain you can take on all these well. Always always believe in yourself.

Yuyee: Likewise. You place high standards on yourself. Remember to just give your best as well. The academic struggles you have fought throughout the year, it has not been an easy route at all but everything happens for a reason (I believe). You know how I feel I am sure so all I want to say is good luck and I hope the very best for you.

Jacq: You set high standards for yourself too. Stay calm and make the pressure work for you instead of against you. Mid-terms were very encouraging results. I believe you can do it. This belief is not one of blind faith but because I see in you great determination and single-mindedness. I wish you all the very best Jacq and I hope you achieve the goals you set out for yourself.

Lam: Everyone has their own priorities in life and I know you rate many things above academics. Nonetheless, I hope you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. I wish you the very best too. And I look forward to spending more quality time this summer holiday.

Xin: Great job for the past semester. Let's try to end of this year with a big bang. It is not often we get opportunities to do really well but I hope this year is 'your year'. All the very best xin. I believe in you. You too must have ultimate faith in yourself.

Dumbo: Hope you have been working hard. Do your best. I really hope to hear good news from you.
